If there is a hazard, the major information needed is the extent of the hazard and especially if people are involved. In such situations our sensor-platforms or UAS will gain a time-advantage.  One of our biggest projects at the moment is “SkyObserver”. The scenario is a gas accident in a company handling chemicals. For the officer-in-charge it is most important to have a real-time picture of the situation. Our task is to develop a swarm of UAS, equipped with different sensors and cameras, which are sending valuable data in real-time to the groundstation. The information displayed at the groundstation will allow the officer-in-charge to react faster and to coordinate the next steps.
